St. David's Anglican Church
Rooted in Scripture. Formed by the Liturgy. Sent into the World.

If you’ve never attended a liturgical Anglican church before — or if you’re simply looking for a church home — we’re glad you’re here. Below are answers to common questions to help you know what to expect.

What is it like?

St. David’s is a parish of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), a global, historic expression of Christian faith rooted in Scripture and shaped by the ancient liturgy of the Church.

Our worship follows the Book of Common Prayer and includes:

  • Scripture readings from the lectionary

  • Prayers of confession and intercession

  • The recitation of the Nicene Creed

  • Hymns both ancient and modern

  • A homily grounded in Scripture

  • Weekly Holy Eucharist

Our worship is reverent, participatory, and Christ-centered. You will sit, stand, kneel (as you are able), pray aloud with the congregation, and receive communion. Everything is printed in a bulletin and the Book of Common Prayer to guide you through the service.

If you are new to liturgical worship, simply follow along — there is no pressure to know what to do.

What about my kids?

Children are welcome in worship.

We believe children learn the faith by participating in it. Families are encouraged to worship together. Depending on the season, we may offer children's church on the first Sunday every month or children’s catechesis during part of the service. Ask a greeter when you arrive, and we’ll be happy to help.

We love the sounds of children learning to worship.

How do I receive Communion?

We celebrate Holy Eucharist every Sunday. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive.

If you prefer not to receive communion, or by reason of conscience,  you are welcome to come forward for a blessing or remain seated in prayer.

If you have questions about baptism or confirmation in the Anglican tradition, we would be honored to talk with you.
